PROCESS:
GREENBOOK PRODUCTION: As this was the first Greenbook production in Ireland, I was determined to stay as sustainable as possible.
SCHOOL UNIFORMS: These were hired from the Abbey Theatre.
DR. HARVEY: Almost the entire costume was sourced from our stock or from charity shops.
LUCY: The dress was our only make of the show. We used an adult sized dress as reference for our pattern.
SPECIAL EFFECTS: There were two special effects used for this show; blood and urine. I worked with the ASM, Em Kelleher to acheive these. We used blood bags. For the urine, we had a medical bag and tube pinned into William’s blazer, and a snap in the trousers which secured the tube in place. The water would release on the push of a button.
